by

At the popular resort of the United Arab Emirates, the fun never ends.

And so this year, hundreds of Greeks, as soon as they heard the new measures for catering and entertainment in our country, closed a New Year’s Eve party in Dubai.

“The truth is that I also had a lot of phone calls from fellow djs who were looking for why all the events here were canceled .. I also had many friends and acquaintances who wanted me to find them accommodation,” said Angela Panteli, a DJ working in Dubai.

Many Greeks who have the financial comfort managed to book accommodation and New Year’s Eve, even at the last minute.

On average, the person will pay from 800 to 1500 euros for tonight’s New Year’s Eve.

With vaccination in the Emirates reaching 100%, the only restriction on citizens is to wear masks on the streets. That is why thousands of tourists have chosen Dubai for the change of time.

“It is due to the exhibition (Expo) that takes place this year, it is visited by people from all countries and especially for holidays it has a great attraction of people and tourism. “Some New Year’s Eve parties and some big events have been planned, but certainly with criteria and interventions of the government, some measures should be observed correctly, sitting, at distances,” said the DJ in Dubai.

Omicron’s campaign, however, affects the planned events in this city as well.
It is characteristic that the long-awaited concert of Antonis Remos with Gipsy Kings was canceled, as the singer himself announced .. because several members of the artists’ bands fell ill and so they will not be able to travel to Dubai ..
