New Year at the Operations Center of Immediate Action was made by the Minister of Civil Protection Takis Theodorikakos, sending a message to the officers of the Greek Police.
The minister said via radio to all police officers on duty:
“From the Business Center of Immediate Action, happy birthday and happy new year to all of you women and men of ELAS, who 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, give your best despite the adversity for the highest good of our Republic, the safety of citizens. A big thank you to all of you who are still working away from your families. It is my pleasure but above all an honor for me to communicate with you at the dawn of a hopeful, I believe new year. I promise that together we will give the battle so that in 2022 we can further strengthen ELAS. I want you to know that in this daily battle I will be by your side. At the same time, I believe that the new year contains a clear and timeless message: we are too few Greeks to be divided. When we join forces we can achieve everything. So we look forward to 2022 together, with optimism. We are moving forward together with solidarity, with security for all and of course with the observance of the laws in order to leave behind us the great ordeal of the pandemic. Good strength, good year “.
