The number of visitors is expected to exceed even those of 2019, with their arrivals having started since the beginning of the week, mainly young people, but a gradual increase is expected from today until tomorrow, when buses will depart from Kifisos KTEL with destination Patras, every five minutes.

“This year the arrivals are expected to be increased by 20% compared to 2019. We estimate that we will transport 20,000 passengers to Patras from Thursday to Saturday. The visitors are not only from Athens, they will come from Volos, Lamia, Larissa, Thessaloniki, Kozani, Pyrgos, but also other cities of the Peloponnese,” stressed the president of the Achaia Interurban KTEL, Andreas Manolopoulos.

It should be noted that the Achaia Intercity Bus received approval from the Patreon Municipality to also use the Agios Nikolaos pier to park buses that will drop off passengers at Othonos Amalia Station, so as not to create overcrowding and traffic congestion.
