The 62-year-old doctor who was convicted by the Joint Jury Court of Heraklion for lewd acts against two of his patients will go to prison.

Specifically, found him guilty for two of the four total cases and sentenced him to 6.6 years in prison.

The case came to light after the complaint of a 22-year-old girl, who visited the distinguished doctor’s private practice in Agios Nikolaos, in order to undergo a series of tests.

According to the indictment, during the examination, the doctor began to fondle her in the context of medical palpation, in parts of the body that are not consistent with his specialty, and then – as she realized to her surprise and horror – began to masturbate.

The young woman immediately left the doctor’s office and went to the local Police Station, reporting the negligence against her.

The police shortly after arrested the 57-year-old, who was taken to the public prosecutor of Lasithi, who prosecuted him for indecent abuse.

After the case was made public, 3 other young women went to the authorities and reported him for indecent-improper acts.
