The AUTH Department of Agriculture bids farewell to its late students, Anastasia Papagelis and Anastasios Koutsopoulos, with a post on social media.
“Time stopped abruptly and unfairly for our two beloved children in the tragic train accident in Tempe that shocked the whole of Greece, plunging their families into deep sadness, as well as us, their “university” family, their fellow students and professors at Aristotle University and especially in the Department of Agriculture,” the department says in its post.
“Our beloved Anastasia and Tasso, our Department is poorer without you, the void you left behind is great. We your fellow students and professors will not let you be forgotten, you will always be members of our big agricultural family. We promise to make every effort to change and correct everything that led to your untimely demise as a final tribute,” he adds.
The funeral of Anastasia Papageli will be held on Monday, March 6 at 2 pm, in the Lykouria of Kalavryton and the funeral of Anastasios Koutsopoulos on the same day at 1 pm in the Metropolitan Church of Agioi Konstantinou and Eleni Karditsa.
