Fifty-five of the victims of the national tragedy of Tempe they have now been formally identified while the police investigation continues for two missing persons. Seven of the injured remain hospitalized in intensive care units, as it was officially announced a while ago.

In particular, the government echelon under the Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister, Responsible for Issues of State Aid and Rehabilitation from Natural Disasters, Mr. Christos Triandopoulos, which has been in the area of ​​Larissa since Thursday, completed the coordination project in the field of actions and actions after the tragic train accident in Tempi. A project of coordination and monitoring of actions and actions, in a context of close cooperation with the Region of Thessaly, but also all responsible, competent and involved bodies. With absolute respect to the victims of the tragic accident that shocked our country, and their families.

In this context, it is noted that:

• According to the data of the Greek Police, fifty-five (55) victims have been officially identified, about which the families have been informed in time – and with the help of experts – and the bodies have been handed over (51 bodies) or their collection by their families has been initiated (4 bodies). Tthe work of the Hellenic Police continues for two (2) missing persons, of which one (1) has been declared missing and one (1) missing – for the time being – is missing.

• According to the data from the Ministry of Health, the wounded who are being treated in four hospitals are twenty, of which seven are in Intensive Care Units (ICU). It is noted that sixty-one injured have been discharged from the hospital in the previous days.

• According to the data and the picture from all those involved in the collection and restoration project in the field of the tragic accident, the wreckage and the wagons of the tragic accident of the two trains, which included twenty-four (24) have been collected and transported to a specially designed area gross weight wagons/engines close to 2,000 tons, while the site has been restored.
