Nine days may have passed, but no one can forget the national team tragedy of Tempewhich led to death of 57 of our fellow human beings.

At the scene of the train accident it was held shortly after 3 in the afternoon sorry for the victims by the Metropolitan of Larissa and Tyrnavos Hieronymos.

“When the pain is shared it becomes half…”, emphasized Hieronymos while the relatives of the victims broke their hearts, placing flowers and leaving photos at the place where their children, their siblings, their own people were lost.

A large number of people gathered early at the spot to pray for the souls of our bereaved fellows.

Residents from the surrounding villages arrived with tears in their eyes to pray for the repose of the souls of dozens of people who died so unjustly.

“We can’t stomach it… It’s our children…” says a resident of Tempe in a broken voice and requests that all necessary measures be taken for the safety of transportation… “How are we ever going to have the confidence to get on the train again?” he wonders.

Today and all these days residents and passers-by leave candles and flowers at the place of the tragedy.
