The fatal accident in Adendros, Thessaloniki, is already being controlled

Sending all files for fatal train accidents done the last fifteen years throughout the network, the Prosecutor of the Supreme Court requested Isidoros Dogiakos by the current commander of the OSE.
As stated in the written order of the Prosecutor of the Supreme Court, the OSE is obliged to inform the prosecution authority, how many fatal railway accidents have occurred in the last 15 years, which occurred, how many victims they had and what was done with the search for criminal liability for the culprits.
The sending of the files, according to information, was requested by Mr. Dogiako, in order to check whether the responsibilities assigned were the real ones, or whether, apart from those who were possibly prosecuted or convicted, there were others, in whom the investigations did not were turned and the relevant case files must now be re-evaluated.
Already, the Prosecutor of the Supreme Court has requested and is studying the file on the fatal train accident in Adendros, Thessaloniki, which occurred in 2017 with four deaths, for which only one of the train drivers who survived the tragic accident was tried.
