From today until Saturday, students and teachers will be able to obtain from pharmacies five free self-diagnostic (self) tests, in order to meet the control needs of the first two weeks of reopening of schools, ie from January 10 to January 21, 2022.
The tests are eligible for students of all levels, vaccinated and not, as well as vaccinated teachers.
It is reminded that:
* the self-test takes place up to 24 hours before the arrival every Tuesday and Friday at school, while for the first week (10-15 / 1) the self-test will take place up to 24 hours before the arrival on Monday (10 / 1), Tuesday (11/1) and Friday (14/1).
* the screening for the new coronavirus through self-diagnostic test (self test) is mandatory for all students, vaccinated and not, as well as for vaccinated teachers.
* A certificate of negative self test must be brought by all students from 4 to 18 years old as well as the vaccinated teachers.
* the free self test from the pharmacies will be available during the Epiphany holiday, on Thursday 6/1, by on-duty pharmacies.
* the statement and the result for the public school units is registered in the platform edupass.gov.gr (and not in the platform of self-testing.gov.gr), from which the School Card for COVID-19 is issued
* Unvaccinated teachers will have to take two rapid tests and a self-test – all at their own expense – in the first week of school operation and in particular the rapid test must be taken up to 48 hours before the arrival on Monday (10 / 1) and Friday (14/1) while a self test should be performed up to 24 hours before the arrival of Tuesday (11/1). From the second week of school operation, unvaccinated teachers will have to take two rapid tests a week, before arriving on Tuesday and Friday of each week.
