Students participating in the Larissa Coordinating Committee plan to send their own message on the occasion of the deadly tragedy of Tempe tomorrow, during the parade on the occasion of the anniversary of March 25
The students have printed badges that will include the date of the accident, but also with the view that “it was a crime”.
Speaking to onlarissa.gr, the 17-year-old student – member of the Coordinating Committee Vassilis Koltsidas explained that this initiative is being done “as a sign of mourning and not to vandalize the parade”. He added that it is optional, but also that “we will wear it because we cannot overlook such an important crime because it is a parade”.
Depicting the climate that prevails in the schools of Larissa, he explained that “the children have understood by themselves that it is not only the station master’s fault. We live in a society where technology has advanced so much that the human factor will be zero. The children use the train and see the problems… We want to send a message that the fairy tale they are trying to sell us and have already started collecting that it is only the station master’s fault is not true. The students do not eat grass, all the PASOK, ND and SYRIZA governments are successively to blame”.
