In the program “Recycle – Change Device” 61.5% of citizens who applied have joined.

The Ministry of Environment and Energy announces the inclusion of an additional 105,000 households in the program “Recycle – Change Device”from the existing shortlist.

After today’s inclusion of new households, a total of 541,000 beneficiaries are given the opportunity to replace their old energy-consuming electrical appliances with new, more energy-efficient ones, a number that represents more than 61.5% of those who have applied to the program to date.

It is noted that the initial budget of the program “Recycle – Change Device”has almost doubled, with total resources reaching 287 million euros.

New beneficiaries are notified by personal message on their mobile phones.

The Minister of Environment and Energy, Kostas Skrekasmade the following statement: “We are once again increasing the number of beneficiaries in the “Recycle – Change Device” program, faithful to our commitment to the gradual inclusion of all the runners-up. In this way, we are responding to the enormous interest of citizens in the energy modernization of households and energy saving. Together with the citizens, who are our great strength, we are creating a better future for Greece.”
