Ingredients for 4 people:

  • 250 g of pasta (depending on the number of people)

Marinade:

  • 10-12 large shrimp (or more)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2-1 lemon, its juice
  • 1 tbsp ground anise
  • For the pan:
  • 1-2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 dry onion
  • 1-3 cloves of garlic
  • 10-15 cherry tomatoes (or more)
  • salt and freshly ground pepper

For serving:

  • lemon zest
  • Bukovo
  • olive oil

How to make it:

  1. Marinate the cleaned shrimps with lemon olive oil and crushed anise, for 10′.
  2. Sauté the onions and garlic in the olive oil until they wilt for about 7-8 minutes. Then add the cherry tomatoes and leave on medium to low heat to wilt, for about 10-15′. When they have softened enough, press them with a spoon to break and release their juice. Add salt and pepper and return the pan to the heat until the sauce is well caramelized, about another 5′.
  3. At this point we can add a little liquid from the spaghetti. Taste and adjust the seasonings. Add the shrimps and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side.
  4. Add the spaghetti to the pan, mix well and serve.
  5. We can sprinkle with lemon zest and extra olive oil. Enjoy while it’s still warm!
