He was arrested immediately, today at noon, at Lower Achaiaby police officers of the Security Department of Western Achaia, a local man, against whom a felony case was filed for manslaughter and violation of the law on weapons, EL.AS states in its announcement about the crime that occurred in the early hours of Tuesday .

As it is underlined, this morning, in a plot of land in Kato Achaia, the accused, due to personal differences, had an argument with a local man and hit him with a sharp object (knife), inflicting multiple injuries on his abdominal-thoracic area and ribs, with as a result of which he was mortally wounded.

To investigate the incident, the police officers of the Security Department of Western Achaia were immediately mobilized, who after careful searches located the accused in the same area and arrested them.

During the investigation of the scene of the incident, the police officers of the West Achaia Security Department found and seized as proof, the knife that the defendant used to commit the murder.

The arrested person will be taken to the Prosecutor of First Instance of Patras, while the preliminary investigation is carried out by the police officers of the Western Achaia Security Department.

According to information from Tempo24.News, perpetrator and victim are 63 years old.

They met in the field probably after an appointment they had given for explanations since the perpetrator suspected that the victim was having an affair with his wife.

After a scuffle ensued as a result of which they rolled on the ground. The perpetrator, also Roma, took out a knife and managed to stab the 63-year-old more than 30 times in almost all parts of his body.
