Panic prevailed yesterday shortly after 7 pm in the central square of Kalamata as a mother who was breastfeeding her baby realized that it was bruised and not breathing
Salvation it turned out to be the intervention of a pair of firefighters, who managed to save a baby when he passed out while nursing.
The incident happened on Tuesday afternoon, when the mother, who was sitting in a cafe in the square, realized that her baby was bruised, and she, in a state of shock, shouted for help.
For her good luck, on a nearby table a couple of off-duty firefighters were sitting there, who, after realizing what was happening, immediately ran for help.
They immediately approached him and saw that he was bruised, so they decided to massage his heart, but the infant was unresponsive, and then they gave him air. Then there was a small snort, which meant to them that the baby was coming back.
They turned it on its sidethe baby came back and cried, and the infant was then taken to the hospital.
The couple of firefighters reported that just a month ago, he had gone through a first aid course again, which proved to be a lifesaver for the infant.
