From the Monday April 24th the online training of prospective Caregivers for the “Neighborhood Babysitters” program begins, so that even those who do not possess the formal qualifications can register in the program’s Caregivers Registry and find work.
The application for participation in the online education will be made through the program platform ntantades.gov.gr. To follow the educational program, those interested are transferred to the https://howto.gov.gr/ platform and enter the course using their personal taxisnet codes.
After the successful completion of the course, the interested parties confirm the successful completion of the asynchronous training program for Curators in the respective selection of the platform, in order to check the correctness and submit their complete application for the final check.
As stated by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs in its announcement, a condition for the access of candidate curators to the online training and educational material is that they have proceeded with their application for inclusion in the Registry of curators, where they have declared that they are not holders of acceptable qualifications recognized under the action as formal qualifications and who wish to be trained online.
Until successful completion of online training, their application will be processed. With the confirmation of the successful completion of the online training and the submission of the other supporting documents (first aid certificate for infants and children and medical certificates), prospective Curators will be able to submit their application definitively.
Successful completion of online training means completion of the online exam, which will consists of 30 random questions, with a pass rate of 70% and above and an examination time of 45 minutes. Candidates will be able to submit to the examination process twice, with a time gap of one week between them. If they fail both attempts they are not allowed to access the online training again.
Those interested can find more information about the conditions, supporting documents and the registration process on the websites of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and the General Secretariat for Demographic and Family Policy and Gender Equality.
It is noted that, in order to better serve those interested, a call center is already in operation. Those interested can call 210-3258080 and 210-3258090, from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 8 pm.
