He was arrested this morning by officers of the Security Department Preveza a 41 years old, against whom a case was filed for attempted murder, kidnapping and domestic violence against his estranged wife.

The 41-year-old perpetrator tried on Sunday night to throw his estranged wife and their infant into a ravine. Specifically, the perpetrator took his 36-year-old wife and their approximately two-year-old child into his car from Ioannina and, against her will and their initial agreement, headed to the area of ​​Preveza.

Then the 41-year-old attempted to drive the car into a ravine, which was avoided as, due to the dense vegetation, the vehicle came to a standstill. The woman called the police and reported the incident. On Monday morning, the parents and the child were spotted by police officers from Thesprotiko Police Station moving in the area of ​​Preveza and were taken to the Preveza Security Department for the preliminary investigation process.

The arrested person will be taken to the Criminal Prosecutor of Preveza.
