“The information about the beating was false, I wasn’t even “present” at the incident,” says the plastic surgeon
There was never a confrontation with the 93-year-old neighbor, argued plastic surgeon Yiannis Lyras, speaking on the show “Our Morning” with Fai Skordas on SKAI, even calling the information that he hit the elderly woman “false and suspicious” on the occasion of the commons.
Mr. Lyras, after pointing out that there are no common areas in the complex where he lives, said that the reason for the incidents was the common garden through which his child passes to go to school.
“The child is being bullied by the old woman,” noted the plastic surgeon, adding that friction intensified in January with a new heated incident between the 93-year-old neighbor and the child.
Mr. Lyras noted that he was absent at the time and his wife and mother-in-law were at home. “I called the police and went home. When I arrived with the police, the lady fainted,” he said, referring to a “staged fainting.
As he asserted, she was then transferred to the KAT where “the doctors found that she has nothing”. Also according to him he filed a lawsuit for beating. “Then the lady was arrested but due to her advanced age the prosecutor released her.”
The plastic surgeon then reported that he stayed overnight in the ward as there was a bureaucratic process to deal with as counterclaims were filed.
The plastic surgeon put an end to the Autoforo Single-Member Misdemeanor Court of Athens, the case was closed as the lawsuits were withdrawn
