Without a serious cause, the incident happened in the early hours of Sunday in the central square of Kalamata, which ended in injury of a 35-year-old and arrest minors for beating him.
At 5:00 a.m. a group of minors, approximately 6-7 people, met the 35-year-old by chance and they began to argue, while it seems that alcohol had been consumed on both sides.
The altercation quickly escalated into hand-to-hand combat, resulting in the young people to throw the 35-year-old to the ground and start hitting him with hands and feet, injuring him mainly in the face.
Neighbors who heard the commotion raised their voices and they notified the Police, with the youths fleeing. The 35-year-old was transferred to the Kalamata Hospital, where he was found to have a broken nose and after being given first aid he left.
