In the wake of the confession of the second of the 12 defendants that he stabbed Alkis Kampanos in the leg, as a result of which he “found” the femoral artery, an admission that was directly disputed both by the district attorney and by the civil lawsuit, continues today in the courtroom of the Mixed Jury Court of Thessaloniki, the trial for the “blind” fan attack that claimed the life of the 19-year-old student, in the early hours of February 1, 2022, in the area of Harilaou.

The procedure is repeated after a one-week break, and the “baton” in the apologies was taken by the third defendant. Going up to the court platform, the 22-year-old apologized to the family of ‘Alkis who was at the scene of the incident. Afterwards, he referred to the decision to launch the attack in Harilaou, confirming that the reason was a previous incident in Oreokastro, where “some of ‘Aris chased PAOK fans”. “We said let’s go for a walk, let’s go argue with Aris fans,” he said, stressing that the decision was taken by everyone, “everyone with their own consent.”

Regarding his own participation in the murderous episode, the 22-year-old denied that he came into contact with ‘Alkis’ and that he himself chased a friend of the 19-year-old. His apology is ongoing.
