With 346 exhibitors from 28 countries, the International Defense and Security Exhibition opens on Tuesday, May 09 DEFEA 2023. The giants of the global defense industry participate, as well as research centers and institutions, which shape developments in the field of high technologies. Official government and military delegations have been invited and according to the figures so far, the presence of visitors from 77 countries has been confirmed.

The Exhibition, which is under the auspices of the Ministry of National Defense, with the close cooperation of which it is being organized, will be inaugurated by the Minister of National Defense Nikos Panagiotopoulos, who will visit both the stands of Greek industries, state and private, as well as the international participations.

At the same time, geopolitical realignments, the strengthening of bilateral and collective relations, the initiatives within the EU and NATO will be at the center of the talks that the political and military leadership will have with the distinguished guests of DEFEA, their counterparts from friendly and allied countries and international organizations.

After all, the Exhibition forms the ideal environment for dialogue and exchange of views on the burning issues of interstate relations and international politics supported by military diplomacy.

At DEFEA, the presence of the Greek defense industry with factories that have a significant contribution to maintaining and continuously upgrading the fighting worthiness of our Armed Forces will be impressive. These industries will have the opportunity to establish and expand international collaborations with the largest companies abroad, which are traditional and proven suppliers of the Greek defense and security forces.

High-tech co-production and transfer programs in our country, which will be discussed and shaped in DEFEA 2023, will contribute decisively to the general economic development that is being sought.
