Snow will fall in the northern mountains and semi-mountains while a weakening of the phenomena is expected from the afternoon. The winds will blow north northeast 6 to 8 Beaufort and the temperature will range from 03 to 07 degrees Celsius.
In the west a few clouds are forecast temporarily increased with local rains in the morning.
In the rest of the country clouds are forecast with rain and mainly in the eastern sea and coastal parts sporadic thunderstorms, which in the Cyclades, Crete, Dodecanese and until noon in Thessaly, the Sporades and Evia will be strong in places.
Heavy snowfall in places will occur in the mountains and semi-mountains as well as in areas of the northern country with lower altitudes.
The effects from the afternoon in the north will stop and in the rest of the areas they will weaken and will be limited to the south.
The winds in the Aegean will blow northeast 8 to 9 and in the north locally up to 10 Beaufort while the temperature will drop significantly and will fluctuate at low levels.
In the northern continents it will not exceed 4 to 6, in the rest of the continents 7 to 9 and in the islands 13 to 14 degrees Celsius and there will be frost in places in the central and northern continents.
The extreme weather phenomena that hit the country, manifested themselves with torrential rains, but even snowfalls in several areas with the most intense of them being recorded in Thessaly.
For precautionary reasons, a limited number of preventive evacuations of citizens from their homes in the wider area of Farsala took place.
In two cases in Larissa, the Fire Service had to intervene to free drivers from their vehicles.
The most serious problems are located in Farsala where in the area of Yperia the river flooded, cutting the village in two.

New meeting at the Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection
