Always operating responsibly towards society and taking care of the sustainability of the environment, the HHG Group decided to actively contribute to the fight against coastal pollution, by cleaning one of the busiest and most beautiful beaches of Attica.

Specifically, the volunteer workers and their family members (from the Hygeia Hospitals, Metropolitan Hospital, Mitera, Metropolitan General, Leto, the Healthspot and Heal Academy diagnostic centers), they cleaned the last part of the beach of Schinias and about in 2 hours collected and delivered to the representatives of “Project PARALIES” 42 kg of waste from plastic, aluminum, paper, glass, as well as cigarette butts.

The “Project PARALISES” is an important environmental initiative aimed at reduction of pollution and the impact of human presence on the marine and coastal ecosystem of the beaches. As part of this action, representatives of the PARALIES project informed the HHG volunteers about the importance of waste collection, the process of qualitative and quantitative recording of the waste collected and the correct way of recycling, with separate collection of the garbage produced accordingly with the material, i.e. plastic, aluminium, paper, glass or composites.
