Anger and shock are caused by the complaint of the animal welfare association of Krestena about a female Boxer that was found chained, boned and in a miserable condition on a plot of land in Zacharo Ilias.

In fact, when they picked him up to take him to the vet, his chain was heavier than the dog itself.

The club was alerted by two female tourists from Austria and the people of the club are wondering why no one reacted for so long seeing this tragic sight, as it is a spot where many people pass by every day.

As the animal welfare association of Krestena emphasizes in its announcement, it is not certain that the dog will make it, as he was literally one step before a coma.

“Every day we also have a ‘surprise’. Every single day there will be an incident that will literally leave us speechless.

A few hours ago we received a phone call from two ladies from Austria who came to Zacharo in the Prefecture of Ilia for vacation.

Directly opposite the local beach a female Boxer dog tied with a thick chain. A dog specimen to be exact as the animal is literally bones and skin. When we picked it up to get it its chain was heavier than the dog itself. We immediately called the police and are currently in the department.

The dog is in a terrible state, he can’t stand up and we are not sure if he will make it as he is one step away from coma. We are on the way to the vet and will let you know.

What we wonder… so many people, so many people pass by this particular spot every day… No one was interested, no one asked, no one wondered. Only two ladies who came from Austria to “enjoy” the beauties of our country!
