The anxiety over the disappearance of the two-year-old girl in Pyrgos is at its peak, as the authorities’ investigations so far have been fruitless.
According to patrisnews, police officers and firefighters searched a wide radius on the west side of the Tower, from the area of ​​the SETTEL camp to “Filothei” at the entrance of the city, but so far without locating the minor child or any element to lead them on his trail.
Authorities will remain on alert and investigations will continue early tomorrow morning.
In the investigations, in addition to the OPKE police officers. and the firefighters of the Pyrgos Fire Service, a special search and rescue team from the 6th E.M.A.K. of Patras, with the assistance of a trained dog.
A group of divers from the same service was also found at the site of the investigations, without diving in the water, as well as a boat that was ultimately not used. However, an operation is expected to take place in the water tomorrow morning to locate the little girl.
According to information from Patris News, both the relatives of the two-year-old child and the authorities believe that he has fallen into a central ditch of the GOEB. For this reason, since the investigation began today at noon, the water flow has also been stopped.
