A 66-year-old tourist bus driver, who was going to transport at least 30 kindergarten students of the city of Rhodes, along with their teachers and parents, was found under the influence of alcohol during a check carried out by Rhodes traffic police.
Some of the parents, it seems, understood that something was wrong and immediately informed the Police, whose officers arrived at the scene, did a breathalyzer test on the driver who was going to transport the children and then found that the driver had used alcohol .

Immediately, they banned the execution of the itinerary, canceled the excursion, and imposed the fines provided by the provisions of the law.
The driver was not arrested.
The incident revealed today by RODIAKI which naturally causes concern as well as reflection and comes at a time when the state (after the tragedy in Tempe) has established stricter rules regarding school trips.
