“I do not want any other girl to suffer what I suffered. I will not go back. ” This phrase was repeated over and over to her lawyer Thanasis Zioga, outside the investigator’s office, by a 24-year-old girl who was raped after a New Year’s party in the suite of a five-star hotel in Thessaloniki.
Obviously shocked but with an impressive soul force, the girl is determined to fight to get paid by those in charge.
She takes courage from friends and acquaintances who stood by her side and try to support her psychologically. From the first moment she revealed the nightmare she lived, the girl saw an unprecedented wave of support unfold in front of her that helps her overcome the initial shock.
“You understand that the girl is psychologically a raccoon. “She is still in a state of shock because such an act flattens the personality of a young girl,” her lawyer, Thanassis Ziogas, told Thesstoday.gr. “She is a modest girl and very low-key. But I’m moved by the fact that he does not give up. Those responsible must be revealed. Some can not be hidden forever. And our role is to expose them and hit the evil at its root “.
A tormented man who has experienced the loss of many of her loved ones, the girl tries to put her life back in order, but without giving up the fight for a moment to reveal the culprits.
Reported three people
What happened on New Year’s Eve in the room of the luxury hotel is slowly coming to the girl’s memory as, as she complains, the perpetrators took care to throw “something” at her drink.
The 24-year-old went to the party with two of her friends at the urging of a man she considered her friend and trusted. This was a person she knew from her outings in well-known stores in Thessaloniki. She went to the party in her car. But because she had had two drinks and was not feeling well enough to drive – as her house is outside Thessaloniki – she agreed to let her friends go and stay the night in one of the rooms booked by 3 Athenian businessmen for the party.
It was only in the morning, when she woke up without her clothes and with various “strange” objects around her, that she realized what had happened, so she immediately contacted her friend who had invited her to the hotel.
“Where am I?” Why am I here? ” were the first phrases she said to him. Then he suggested to her: “Leave quickly and come here”.
This is the same person who, as revealed yesterday by Thesstoday.gr in a report by Antonis Tsolnaras, admitted in an Instagram post everything that happened.
Despite the confusion and stress, the girl found the courage and contacted her lawyer Thanasis Zioga who advised her to immediately report the incident to the police.
Indeed, the girl went to the White Tower Police Station where she mentioned what she remembered by complaining to 3 people – but she does not know their identity. These are the 3 Athenians who “welcomed” her in the corridor of the hotel when she was not feeling well and pretended to help her.
The sequel is more or less known. Police arrested a 27-year-old man who was released on parole.
However, the case is not closed as the investigator continues to take testimonies from people involved in the case.
In recent days, a “tsunami” of reactions, complaints and revelations has erupted on social media, proving that the stench that exists in several night shops is strong and “some” consider it to be above the law.
Of course, information states that in all this storm of complaints, names are written that have nothing to do with the case. But justice is sure to find the end of the line. After all, the 24-year-old girl declares it in every way: “I have the social support and I am not going to back down”.
