Ford is embarking on its biggest adventure yet as the new all-electric Explorer 1 joins forces with this summer’s blockbuster Indiana Jones and the Disc of Destiny from Disney & Lucasfilm in its latest advertising campaign.
With references to the iconic images and famous music of the legendary film franchise, this new campaign shows Ford’s mid-size crossover embarking on a transcontinental adventure, with a brief appearance at the end by a very familiar figure.
The campaign began airing on June 12, ahead of the film’s European theatrical release dates, showcasing Explorer’s adventures across TV, digital, radio and outdoor advertising, as well as social media, in select European countries.

The fifth and final film in the Indiana Jones series stars Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones, and also stars Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelsen and Antonio Banderas in a well-traveled cinematic adventure.
The aim of the collaboration was to capitalize on the history and legacy of the film franchise, starring the ultimate explorer Indiana Jones, to make the Ford Explorer more widely known.

Wanting to show off his skills, adventure travel influencer Lexie Alford – known to millions of internet users as Lexie Limitless – will take a trip around the world in an all-electric Ford Explorer later this year.
Reservations for the new Explorer are now being accepted, with the first delivery dates taking place in 2024.
