A 28 year old he was arrested for illegal transportation of foreigners last night by police officers of the Immigration Management Department of the Directorate of Foreigners in Thessaloniki.
It is a foreigner, at whose expense a case file was filed for the offenses of illegal transport – promotion of immigrants, illegal entry into the Country, deprivation of a driver’s license, violence against employees, disloyalty, forgery and theft.
Specifically, in P.E.O. Kavala – Thessalonikis (Kombos Redinas) was identified I.X. A truck driven by the aforementioned, which clearly had fake plates and was stopped in order to carry out a check.
In the vehicle, which was found to have been stolen in an earlier time from his area Municipality of Volvi, two more compatriots of the driver were found to be on board, all without legal travel documents.
The arrestedwith the case filed against him by police officers of the Mygdonia Immigration Management Department, will be taken to the competent Prosecutor, while the above vehicle, which was confiscated, will be returned to its owner.
