The traffic accident occurred yesterday late afternoon – The 14-year-old remains hospitalized at the Kalamata Hospital
The local community is shocked by the serious traffic accident that happened yesterday in Kalamataand resulted in injury to two minor children who were riding an electric scooter. According to the latest information, the 16 year old carrying traumatic brain injury was served last night at the KAT, and he is intubated in the Neurosurgery Clinic.
The 14 year old girl is still being treated at Kalamata Hospitalwith spinal taps, however her state of health does not inspire concern, and will remain in the Hospital for 2-3 days as a precaution. She remains shocked by the serious traffic accident that left her and her boyfriend injured.
The accident happened late yesterday afternoon. The 16-year-old and his girlfriend tried to cross the street without checking if a passing car is passingas shown in the video below, the driver of the preceding machine.
The girl is ahead of the boy who is driving, which does not rule out the possibility the young man’s visibility was limited.
Unfortunately, both children they were not wearing a helmet.
