Traffic problems on the provincial roads of Halkidiki were left behind by the severe bad weather that hit the prefecture, especially yesterday, Saturday, June 17.

Due to the heavy rainfall that occurred, vehicle traffic has been suspended today on the provincial road of Agios Pavlos-Neas Gonias and on the beach of Kalyvion, while since yesterday, vehicle traffic has been conducted by bypass roads in four points of the provincial and municipal road network. Specifically:

– On the provincial road Dionysiou-Paralia Dionysiou.

– On the provincial road of Paralias Dionysiou-N. Flames.

– At the 1st kilometer of the Ormylia-Vrastamon provincial road.

– On the 1st kilometer of the municipal road that connects the 7.5 kilometer of the Moudanion-Sithonia provincial road with the Municipal District of Olynthos.

In Thessaloniki, the traffic problems observed yesterday have been eliminated and remain only on small roads of regional municipalities.

The National Weather Service has predicted a gradual weakening of the weather from the late afternoon and an improvement in the evening hours.
