“Two mornings before she ended up, Georgina had a very good clinical picture. Her death is not justified. It was very strange what happened,” said the director of the Pediatric Clinic of the “Panagiotis and Aglaia Kyriakou” Children’s Hospital.

The hospital doctor who received Georgina after Onassio testified that the little girl it had a very good image hours before she died on January 20, 2022, referring to an unexplained “sudden, sudden death”:

“From the medical data, Georgina’s death is not justified. Instantaneous and sudden death is not justified. When I left the hospital on Friday, I did not expect that the next day I would be informed that the child had died,” said the doctor.

As Ms. Mavrikou pointed out, she had seen Georgina on both January 27 and 28 and she was stable with the last episode on January 25. The doctor even said that due to the good image of the child, the good encephalogram and the stability of his condition “I recommended to start feeding”.

Prosecutor: Did your mother tell you about the episodes?

Witness: Yes she came out the door and told us the child was having episodes. In the two episodes I happened to visit right across the street, in the third I don’t remember what happened, but I was there anyway.

The witness, answering a question from the defense counsel for the prosecution, said that she was not in the hospital when Georgina suffered the fatal collision: “I was not in front. I have been informed that the child had 30 pulses. That doesn’t mean anything, they could be listening to the pacemaker mechanism. The kid didn’t have the heart to respond..I don’t think it ended up being 15:50! The child was dead by the time the intensive care unit started treating him.”

According to the doctor, she had discussed the family history with Georgina’s parents. “We had two sudden deaths in the family, which were a bit strange for me. The 3.5-year-old child, (he means Malena) was admitted with acute leukemia and “passed away” from liver failure. They asked if he had any liver problems and they said no. My father said they have taken legal action. I was also told about the infant (s.s. Iris) that the cause of death was “sinus agenesis”. The first time I heard it, it made an impression on me and I also talked to cardiologists and they also told me that it is strange. It was strange the first time I heard it,” said the witness.

Chairman: You said before that when you asked the accused to describe the episode of the child to you, before the objection she told you that she did not see a loss of consciousness?
Witness: Yes, she told me that she did not lose consciousness when the episode happened. But when you have spasms, you lose them. He told me that he was hospitalized in Karamandanio and that they were told that he had some bronchopneumonia and that he then stopped.
