After a long process, an investigator and a prosecutor temporarily detained one of the 4 new defendants for the sexual abuse of 12 years old by Column according to an ERT publication.

He is a 46-year-old man from Pakistan, a mobile phone shop owner.

Restrictive conditions were imposed on the remaining three. The 43-year-old petrol station attendant from Pakistan was ordered to appear once a month at the AT, the 63-year-old who was recently arrested for attempting to seduce an underage girl in Omonia was ordered to appear twice a month at the AT and the ban contact with the child and the 82-year-old from the neighborhood of the 12-year-old, also the ban on contact with the minor.

All denied the charge of having intercourse with a minor for pay. In particular, the 63-year-old claimed that he never approached the minor with his car, as he is accused of, since, as he claimed, the vehicle mentioned by the 12-year-old in her 7th consecutive statement was bought by him, months after the alleged sexual abuse. The defendant allegedly claimed before the 14th regular investigator that he does not know either the minor or the remand for pimping and rape, Ilias Michos.

The 43-year-old Pakistani man denies that he performed sexual acts with the girl, inside the gas station, where he worked, during the evening hours. As he reportedly mentioned, apologizing, for many years he only worked in this business in the morning. The gas station does not have security cameras, as the minor claims, while he lives alone directly opposite the gas station.

For his part, the 46-year-old mobile phone store owner, father of two children, states that the minor has confused his business with another and that he has been professionally active in the area for 20 years.

Finally, the overage defendant allegedly claimed that the girl occasionally helped him with shopping bags at the supermarket. He himself, although he lives in the neighborhood of the minor, denies that he knows Ilias Michos. His allegations were confirmed by his wife, testifying as a witness to the investigator.

Two more arrested will apologize to the investigator tomorrow. They are a 43-year-old Albanian and a 32-year-old from Pakistan.
