A man was arrested this morning in Volos, by police officers of the Volos Police Department, against whom a case file was filed for violation of the legislation on animal killing and on the welfare of companion animals.
Last night, the perpetrator tied two of his owned horses in a riverside area of ​​the city of Volos, and one of them suffocated from the rope with which it was tied.

The Volos Philanthropic Group announcing the news said: “We were notified by the police, someone tied 2 horses in Krausidona, Tsalapata area, one got tangled in the ropes and drowned, the other is in shock, is there anyone who has horse facilities to help accommodate? we take cavalry but they don’t pick it up, we ask for help for the animal”.
The preliminary investigation is carried out by the Volos Police Department, while the arrested person will be taken to the Volos Misdemeanor Prosecutor.
