The schools of primary and secondary education in Florina as well as the facilities of the University of Western Macedonia in the city will remain closed until the day after tomorrow, Friday, January 21, in order to assess the condition of the buildings after the January 9 earthquake.
Specifically, with the decision of the mayor of Florina Vassilis Giannakis, the schools will remain closed until next Friday as the process of inspecting the buildings is underway to assess their condition and determine whether they can safely accommodate students after the earthquake.
