The municipality’s services are on high alert due to the upcoming high temperatures
On high alert is located Municipality of Piraeus due to the predicted high temperatures, based on the emergency bulletin of dangerous weather phenomena issued by the E.M.Y.
Specifically, it will work for the hospitality of citizens on a 24-hour basis, from today, Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. and until the weather conditions change and the temperature drops, the homeless accommodation structure “Piraeus Port of Solidarity Dormitory” of the Unesco Group of Piraeus and Islands in collaboration with the Municipality of Piraeus (Mykalis 51 , Kaminia. The dangerous weather conditions last at least six days with the warmest days on Friday 7-14-2023 and Saturday 7-15-2023.
All preventive measures against the coronavirus are applied in the structure.
In addition, the Municipal Services involved in matters of Civil Protection are put on full alert.
