As well as pushing the limits of performance at Goodwood, Ford continues to use its presence to once again challenge the stereotypes of the car industry. As part of this, it will host an all-female panel at its exhibition stand, made up of inspirational figures from the industry, who will discuss topics such as how electric vehicles are creating new experiences as well as important purchase and ownership opportunities for the women.

Its power is transferred via an optional TREMEC 6-speed manual transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential to the vehicle’s larger-than-front-rear wheels, which are fitted with Pirelli’s new-generation P Zero PZ4 tires developed specifically for the specific model.

“At the heart of every Mustang is a driving experience that leaves you wanting more,” said Mark Rushbrook, global director, Ford Performance Motorsports. “That’s the spirit that will live on in every Mustang – whether gas-powered, electric, road-going or racing. That’s why Ford loves coming to Goodwood – to share its passion with an audience that believes motorsport performance should be available to anyone who wants to experience it.”

The new electric Ford Explorer, introduced earlier this year, will reach customers in 2024 and pave the way for a new wave of bold, iconic electric vehicles that are connected to Ford’s American roots and designed for Europe. The new Explorer’s premium digital experience includes an advanced infotainment system, a mobile 15-inch screen 3 and wireless app integration, 4 while the interior features a hidden glovebox and center console with a 17-litre capacity, big enough to fit a laptop.
