The coast guard fired warning shots to stop the boat which attempted to escape at high speed towards the Turkish coast
The port police of the island proceeded to arrest a foreign smuggler who had just landed immigrants on the beach of Kos this morning.

(Exposure of life at risk) and article 83 of Law 3386/2005 (Illegal entry and exit from the country) as applicable, while the above means of transportation was confiscated.
