31 years since the day Thanos Axarlian fell dead
“31 years from the day that Mr Thanos Axarlian was a victim of the murderous attack of the terrorist organization ‘November 17th’, with a rocket, at the junction of Karagiorgis Serbias and Voulis streets. We honor his memory, as well as all the victims of terrorism,” wrote the Minister of National Defense on his personal Twitter account. Nikos Dendias.

For his part, the Deputy Minister of Defense Nikos Hardalias, states in his post: “July 14, 1992 … 20-year-old Thanos Axarlian is brutally murdered by 17N. 31 years later, we always keep his memory alive and fight against terrorism every day. Democracy-I don’t forget”.
