The course of implementation of the distribution network construction project natural gas at Florina its CEO reviewed DEDAFrancesca Zanninotti and a cadre of company executives yesterday during her visit to the city.
At the same time, the opening of the DEDA office in Florina took place, in the presence of the deputy governor of the Regional Unit of Florina, Sotirios Vosdos, the deputy mayor of technical services of the municipality of Florina, Nikolaos Grigoriadis, the president of the Chamber of Florina, Savvas Sapalidis, as well as representatives of productive and economic entities in the area .
Construction work on the natural gas distribution network in Florina is in full swing and will be completed within 2024. The first consumer connections are expected to be activated towards the end of this year.
The project in Florina foresees investments of 17.78 million euros and concerns the construction of a total of 102.5 km of natural gas distribution network, which will initially be supplied by a Liquefied Natural Gas plant that will be built in the Industrial Area of ​​Florina.
At the same time, in the context of NSRF 2014-2020additional funding of 19.6 million euros has been secured for the implementation of the action “Replacement of heating systems with natural gas systems in the Municipality of Florina”, with beneficiaries being the households that will be connected to the natural gas distribution network constructed by DEDA in the city .
The action concerns the replacement of existing heating systems in homes in Florina, providing a grant of up to 100% of the replacement cost. The consumer connections that will take place with the implementation of this action are expected to reach 5,000.
Interested residents of Florina can submit a grant application on the DEDA website (www.deda.gr/map/), submitting at the same time a request to connect to the natural gas distribution network in the area. The deadline for submitting the grant application ends on 31/7/2023, while the required supporting documents can be submitted until 30/9/ 2023.
It is noted that in addition to the above action, DEDA offers this year 100% discount on connection fees to all residential consumers.
