The largest plantation in the prefecture of Larissa was the one detected yesterday Tuesday in the mountainous area of ​​”Gudamanio tis Rhodia” of the Municipality of Tyrnavos by the Narcotics Prosecution Department of Larisa, with 3,680 seedlings of Indian hemp in an area of ​​approximately four acres.

Three people from the same family were arrested, and in particular, according to information from the newspaper Eleftheria, it is the 60-year-old father, the 48-year-old mother and their 23-year-old son.

In a house near the EL.AS building. in the district of Neapolis, the passports of three Albanian citizens were found and confiscated, of which two were identified as plantation cultivators, while from EL.AS. a total of four perpetrators are wanted as cultivators.

The perpetrators’ house, according to the same information, belonged to the 60-year-old man who was arrested as the “responsible mind” of the plantation, while the other two members of the family, the 48-year-old wife and the 23-year-old son, were arrested accused of complicity.

The particular plantation was organized and developedclearly visible on a hill with low forest vegetation, in contrast to the other hashish plantations that had been identified in previous years by the Larissa Narcotics Prosecution in forest areas in Karya Elassonas or in Olympos, where the growers had deforested the surrounding forest area to avoid being visible.

The three arrested are expected to be brought before the Misdemeanor Prosecutor today.
