A total of 151 autopsies and records of the buildings affected by the forest fires were carried out by the levels of the general secretariat of Natural Disaster Restoration and State Aid in the municipalities of Saronikos, Loutraki – Perachora – Ag. Theodoron, Megareon and Mandra-Idyllia. Of the 151 autopsies in the fire-stricken areas of the above four municipalities, in total and so far, 60 buildings are characterized as dangerous for use (“red”), 48 are characterized as temporarily unfit for use until repaired (“yellow”) and 43 are characterized as suitable for use with minor repairs (“green”).

Particularly:

* Municipality of Saronikos: 51 total records of damage to residences, business premises, warehouses, stables, etc. Of these buildings, 17 are characterized as dangerous for use, 17 are characterized as temporarily unsuitable for use until they are repaired and 17 are characterized as suitable for use in need of minor repairs.

* Municipality of Loutraki – Perachora – Ag. Theodoron: 74 total records of damage to residences, business premises, warehouses, stables, etc. Of these buildings, 32 are classified as dangerous for use, 23 are classified as temporary – until repaired – unsuitable for use and 19 are classified as suitable for use in need of minor repairs (“green”). Autopsies are continuing in four other buildings.

* Municipality of Megareo: 6 total records of damage to residences, business premises, warehouses, stables, etc.. Of these buildings, 3 are characterized as dangerous for use, 1 is characterized as temporarily unsuitable for use until it is repaired and 2 are characterized as suitable for use in need of minor repairs.

* Municipality of Mandras – Idyllias: 20 total records of damage to residences, business premises, warehouses, stables, etc.. Of these buildings, 8 are characterized as dangerous for use, 7 are characterized as temporarily unsuitable for use until they are repaired and 5 are characterized as suitable for use in need of minor repairs.

In addition, damages were found in three business areas, but access was not allowed.

As stated in an announcement by the Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, following the permission of the Fire Brigade, the process of autopsies and recording the damage in the areas affected by the recent fires, continues since the day before yesterday, by the levels of the general secretariat of Natural Disaster Recovery and State Aid of the Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection. The process has been largely completed, in a framework of cooperation with the local self-government organizations.

Specifically, 24 teams with the participation of 54 executives of the general directorate of Natural Disaster Effects of the general secretariat of Natural Disaster Recovery and State Aid, are in the field and carry out autopsies, records, but also assessments where there is the relevant opportunity in affected areas of the municipalities of Saronikos, Loutraki – Perachora – Ag. Theodoron, Megareon and Mandra – Idyllia.

At the same time, in a framework of cooperation with the Regions of Attica, Peloponnese and Central Greece, the process of recording the losses of the affected businesses by the State Aid Committees under the State Aid Directorate of the General Secretariat for Natural Disaster Recovery and State Aid has begun and is progressing.

Finally, although the first phase of the autopsies process has been completed, the services of the general secretariat of Natural Disaster Recovery and State Aid, in a context of close cooperation with the municipalities, but also communication with the citizens, will continue the visits to these areas in the following days, following relevant requests.
