Action calls them to participate in actions that will positively contribute to the areas of Equality, Sustainability and Prosperity – UM employees in over 50 countries, 100+ markets and 120+ offices, come together to contribute to local communities.
On Thursday, July 20, 2023, UM organized the sixth global Impact Day on the subject of “Creating a Better Future“. The Action Day “Impact Day” started in 2016 within the framework of UM’s corporate and social responsibility program, “Better World”.
“We are excited to take action and actively contribute to our local communities at this year’s Impact Day. All the actions of UMers around the world, such as picking up trash at beaches and parks in the United States, providing essential items to people with disabilities in South Korea, and supporting an organization that helps people living on the streets in Greece, are aimed at building a better tomorrow, today,” said Andrea Suarez, Global CEO of UM.
Her Thursday, July 20UM closed its offices in Europe, Asia, Latin America and North America to work with local charities, NGOs and other organizations to implement social impact actions.
In GREECEthe UMers in collaboration with the urban non-profit company DIOGENIS NGO, which also publishes the #Shedia street magazinefollowed the “Invisible Paths” program, created art through the social and environmental program Shedia Artand supported Schedia’s restaurant by hosting lunch at their venue, Schedia Home.
