It is noted that with its announcement, the Board of Directors of ESIEA condemned the attack that TV crews and journalists received earlier from fans.
“Today should be a day of mourning and reflection. Unfortunately, the latest sad loss in the cycle of fan violence doesn’t seem to make anyone wise. Instead, violence today is directed against workers covering the events. We emphasize that journalists are obliged to inform the citizens from the side of the incident, treating with discretion and empathy our fellow human beings, who are in a state of mourning or mental pressure.
The colleagues were outside the field exercising their function without disturbing or provoking. The attack against them has no justification.”
The Board of Directors, once again, asks the State to take the necessary preventive policing measures and protect the work of colleagues before it is too late.
