He was charged with manslaughter while a conviction was pending in the other case
The 35-year-old man, who was arrested for the murder of his 55-year-old aunt, in her house on Bukaouri Street, on July 26, was sentenced to pre-trial detention after his confession. Seven years ago he was accused of murdering his 53-year-old mother and her 55-year-old sister who was murdered last week.
The 35-year-old was brought before the prosecutor’s office last Friday. He was charged with manslaughter while a conviction was pending in the other case.
There are serious evidence against him in relation to the criminal act. Security cameras available to the police show the 35-year-old man coming out of the woman’s house at the time in question which is forensically determined to be the murder, i.e. Wednesday, July 26, wearing a wig, mask and surgical gloves.
On July 19, 2016, in the same house, but on another floor, where the 55-year-old was found murdered, her 53-year-old sister, then 53, was fatally injured with blows from fists and a bat on the head.
The 55-year-old was found murdered in her home by a friend of hers, who notified the Police. The 35-year-old boarded a KTEL Achaia intercity bus and traveled to Corinth and then by taxi to Loutraki, where he stayed for a short time in a friend’s caravan.
