With the proximity of Father’s Day this Sunday (13) restaurants in São Paulo are already preparing to receive the public at one of the most popular lunches of the year. To compete for the clientele, the chefs created special dishes or set menus at a fixed price.

Bar do Terraço Itália, on the 41st floor of the building in downtown São Paulo – Thiago Castro/Disclosure
The itinerary below lists restaurants spread across all regions of the city, also varied in style of environment, type of cuisine and prices.
As is customary on commemorative dates, making a reservation is essential —the Terraço Itália, for example, is so sought after by tourists that it even requires advance payment. But not every house accepts reservation. This is the case with Panelão do Norte, an XL-sized salon that always has a queue at the door. Over there, the trick to avoid the wait is to arrive early, as lunch starts to be served at 11:30 am.
Codfish, Wine & Cia
Families celebrating Father’s Day at the old restaurant, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary, will find a special package for the date at R$399. To close, there is a trio of Portuguese sweets.
