Local rains, mainly in the central, eastern and southern areas, strengthened meltemi in the Aegean, with intensities up to 7 Beaufort in the Aegean and temperatures up to 33 degrees Celsius are the main features of the weather for today.
In the eastern mainland, the Sporades, Evia and northern Crete, a few clouds temporarily increased with local rains. Isolated storms will probably occur in the morning hours in Evia and from the evening hours in Thessaly. In the rest of the country, almost clear weather with a few clouds in western Greece, which will increase in the midday and afternoon hours in the continental areas and there will be local rain or isolated storms, mainly in the mountains.
The winds will blow from northerly directions in the west 3 to 5 Beaufort, in the east 4 to 6 and in the northeast Aegean temporary local 7 Beaufort.
