Traffic ban on Sheikh Su from 10 in the morning until midnight, decided for Sunday 20/8 the deputy regional governor of the Metropolitan Unity of Thessaloniki, Voula Patoulidou. The ban will apply in the forest area of ​​Oreokastro, Pylaia – Hortiatis and Thermi, due to the very high risk of fire.
In particular, pedestrian and vehicular traffic of any kind is prohibited in the part of the Periastiko forest of Thessaloniki (Sheikh-Sou) which is surrounded by the Peripheral Road of Thessaloniki, the provincial road of Pefkon – Asvestohoriou – Exokhis and the provincial road of Thessaloniki Panorama-Hortiati, in the forest area Oreokastro (Oreokastro Forest Park), in the Panorama Forest Park (from XDA Platanakia to the Shooting Range) and in the forest area of ​​Thermi, specifically near the Environmental Park and the Isenli Forest Park.
