The rescue operation is carried out in collaboration with Civil Protection, the Greek Police, the Fire Brigade, municipalities, animal welfare organizations and volunteers.
In addition, anyone who needs access to rescue animals or intends to rescue animals himself with his own vehicle in cooperation with the Special Secretariat can call the official telephone numbers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs 2131364020 or 2131364935.
At the same time, the Non-Profit Organization Dogs’ Voice puts into operation the fire-affected animal station PALAI in Galatsi, which accepts animals that have been injured or are in danger. The space is granted once again by the Municipality of Galatsi and the mayor Giorgos Markopoulos, whom we thank again for the perfect cooperation.
Arriving pets must be known from where they were received and will be registered with separate code.
Concerning productive animals there is a relevant cooperation of the Special Secretariat with a cooperating shelter. Upon consultation with her, productive animals in need can be transported there.
