One person was seriously injured in the explosion and was taken to the People’s Hospital, as the president of the EKAB employees, George Mathiopoulos, told SKAI.
SKAI information states that according to the first indications, the explosion took place in a store with organic products and the injured person is the owner of the store.
The blast, which was heard in other areas, shattered windows and damaged nearby buildings.
Firefighters were able to contain the blaze.
