They were arrested three Greeks aged 19, 16 and 14, accused of dangerous bodily harm and robbery with complicity, as well as of violating the legislation on fan violence, by police officers of the Northeast Attica Security Directorate, in the afternoon of Wednesday, August 23, 2023, in the area of Nea Ionia.

According to police sources, two of the arrested are also involved in the fan attack at the ISAP station in Perissos on April 24.

In particular, in the afternoon hours of Wednesday (23/8), in the courtyard of a school complex in Nea Ionia, a group of nine people raped two minors, 14 years old, and then took a mobile phone and a wristwatch from their possession.

As it emerged in the context of a thorough investigation, the perpetrators, having established contact through a social networking platform (instagram) with the victims, under the guise of shared sports preferences, while in reality they were fans of a different sports team, suggested the two minors to meet at the ISAP station of Nea Ionia to take a picture in front of a graffiti of the group, where two people were waiting for them, who led them to the place where the attack took place.

The 14-year-old injured were transported by ambulance station to a hospital for the provision of first aid, while at the same time they notified the telephone center of the Immediate Action.

Immediately, police officers of the DI.AS Team. they spotted three of the perpetrators moving in the area and after bringing them in, they were recognized by the victims and arrested.

In a subsequent investigation, the removed mobile phone was also found near the scene of the attack, which was attributed to the father of its owner.

Those arrested were taken to the competent prosecuting authority.
